Santhana Gopala Homa
Santhana Gopala Homa helps couples plan for a family as it helps protect the expectant mother and the unborn child.
Why is it done?
Santhana Gopala Homa/Havan is performed invoking the infant form of Lord Krishna. It is performed for childless couples to be blessed with a progeny to carry on their legacy as well as to ensure safe delivery of the child. Due to improper placement of planets in the natal chart or Graha dosha, couples may find obstacles in begetting an offspring. Sometimes it may also be due to evil eye or drishti dosha. By worshipping Lord Vishnu, the devotees are blessed with a healthy child and also protects expectant mothers against miscarriages and bestows a safe delivery of the baby as well. The mantras chanted during this homa produces vibrations that ensure sound health of the mother and the infant and prevents any abnormalities.
