Kundali Dasha

Kundali Dasha

What is dasha?

Dasha is a Vedic astrology term used to describe the planetary periods that are believed to affect a person's life. It is based on the position of the planets at the time of a person's birth, and each planet is associated with a specific period of time. The impact of a planet's dasha is believed to be determined by the planet's position in a person's birth chart, as well as its relationship to other planets. It is believed that the dasha of a planet can bring both positive and negative effects on a person's life, depending on the planet's position and the overall astrological chart.

Types of dasha in kundli

In Vedic astrology, there are several different types of dasha systems (कुंडली में दशा) used to analyse the planetary periods in a person's life. Some of the most commonly used dasha systems include:

Vimshottari Dasha:

In Hindu astrology, the Vimshottari Dasha is a widely used method of astrological prediction. It is a particular kind of lunar-based Dasha system where the Moon's position in the natal chart is used to determine each planet's period of influence. It is regarded as one of Hindu astrology's most effective and popular Dasha systems.

The Nakshatras in which the Moon is positioned at the time of birth serve as the foundation for the Vimshottari Dasha. The position of the Moon in the natal chart is used to determine each planet's relative strength, and the Dasha period of each planet is calculated based on that information. It is employed to foretell occurrences and factors affecting one's health, wealth, career, and relationships.

Yogini Dasha:

Hindu astrology employs a system of astrological forecasting called Yogini Dasha. The Yogini Dasha system is used to assess the relative strength and influence of each of the 9 Yoginis in an individual's chart as each of the yoginis are linked to a particular planet. The events and factors affecting one's health, wealth, career, and relationships are predicted using this system.

Ashtottari Dasha:

Ashtottari Dasha system is another prediction system in Hindu astrology which is based on the planetary periods of eight planets and the Moon. Each planet's placement in the chart determines its relative strength and is used to forecast occurrences and influences in the areas of wealth, relationships, career, and health. Ashtottari Dasha begins with the planet in the first house of the natal chart (ascendant) and proceeds through the planets in the following order: Moon, Sun, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, and Venus.

Dwadashottari Dasha:

Dwadashottari Dasha is a Hindu astrological prediction system which is a lunar-based Dasha system where the Moon's position in the natal chart is used to determine each planet's period of influence. The Dwadashottari Dasha is based on the position of the Moon in the zodiac signs, as opposed to the Vimshottari Dasha, which is based on the position of the Moon in the Nakshatras or lunar mansions. Each planet in the Dwadashottari Dasha system is connected to a particular zodiac sign and is thought to have a particular impact on a person's life during its Dasha period. The position of the Moon in the natal chart is used to determine each planet's relative strength, and the Dasha period of each planet is calculated based on that information. It is used to forecast events and influences pertaining to health, wealth, career, and relationships.

Shodashottari Dasha:

Shodashottari Dasha is a category of lunar-based Dasha system, which is based on the position of the Moon at the time of birth. The name Shodashottari means "sixteen" in Sanskrit, which refers to the total number of Dasha periods used in this system. In the Shodashottari Dasha system, each planet is associated with a specific Dasha period, which is calculated based on the position of the Moon in the natal chart. The Dasha period of each planet is determined by the number of years it takes for the Moon to pass through the Nakshatras or lunar mansions associated with that planet. The relative strength of each planet is determined by its position in the chart, and the Dasha period of each planet is calculated based on the position of the Moon in the natal chart.

Kalachakra Dasha:

Kalachakra Dasha is one of the more intricate and thorough Dasha systems used in Hindu astrology and is based on the 27 lunar mansions, or Nakshatras. The Kalachakra Dasha system is based on both the position of the Sun and the Moon in the natal chart, in contrast to other Dasha systems that are based on the position of the Moon in the natal chart.

Each Nakshatra in the Kalachakra Dasha system is connected to a particular planet, and it is thought that during its Dasha period, that planet will have a particular impact on a person's life. The Sun and Moon's positions in the natal chart are used to calculate each Nakshatra's Dasha period, and its placement in the chart determines the relative strength of each Nakshatra.

While these are some of the dasha systems in astrology, the most commonly dasha categories that are used in Kundali are Vimshottari, Antardasha, and Mahadasha.

Mahadasha

Mahadasha is a term used in Hindu astrology to refer to the main period or "dashas" of a person's life. The Mahadasha is the period of time during which the influence of a particular planet is believed to be the strongest and is considered to be the most significant for predicting events and influences related to health, wealth, career, and relationships.

In Hindu astrology, each person has a unique birth chart that is based on the positions of the planets at the time of their birth. Based on this birth chart, the astrologer determines the Mahadasha of each planet and the relative strength of each planet. The Mahadasha of each planet is calculated based on the position of the Moon in the natal chart, and the relative strength of each planet is determined by its position in the chart.

The Mahadasha of each planet lasts for a specific period of time, which is calculated based on the position of the Moon in the natal chart. The Mahadasha of each planet is followed by the Antardasha of another planet, and this process continues until the entire cycle of the Dasha system has been completed.

Trying out the free kundalis of various online companies is a hobby of mine. Clickastro free kundali is okay. There is nothing particularly unique or outstanding. That most of the report is blurred is a bit of a bummer. But I like the content on display. It is fun to read and also quite accurate. If you are planning to purchase a full report, I say go ahead.

Getting an online marriage prediction report is not a problem these days. But their quality varies. If you want to buy a decent prediction report with good quality though the price is a bit higher, then Clickastro is your best option. The reports are comprehensive, accurate and fairly simple as well. It also carried remedies for doshas if any. The best part is you can consult an astrologer for a more detailed analysis through the same platform itself.

But it took a long time for me to get the physical report, to the extent that I had given up on it. Also, they should check on their customer relations' personnel. The one whom I got was very curt.
